LSAC Washington, DC Forum
杏吧视频 will be in attendance at the LSAC Washington, DC Forum on Saturday, July 12 from 10:00 a.m. 鈥 4:00 p.m.
The Center for Trial Advocacy will serve law school students, alumni, and the local legal community by providing an opportunity to meet, collaborate, learn, and improve courtroom and advocacy skills. The Center will work closely with 杏吧视频鈥檚 experienced faculty, alumni, and local community leaders to provide advocacy-centered curricular, extracurricular, CLE, Professionalism Series, internships, externships, and other networking opportunities and events.
(a) to help, encourage, and provide training opportunities for students and members of the legal community who want to learn and improve courtroom and advocacy skills;
(b) to collaborate with alumni and other local organizations interested in advancing advocacy skills education and providing advocacy opportunities to students and other members of the local community;
(c) to encourage and provide opportunities for students to participate in quality advocacy-centered curricular, extracurricular, and competition experiences; and
(d) to prioritize ethics and professionalism in all aspects of advocacy.
Professor Suzanne Chapman teaches Legal Writing, Trial Advocacy, Advanced Evidence, and Construction Law at Charleston Law. She has served as the Faculty Advisor to the Charleston Law Trial Advocacy Board since June 2023. In 2024, Chapman was appointed as the Region 5 Representative for the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators (NALAE). She is a speaker and writer on Trial Advocacy and Evidence.
